How to always get a spot

Book early. Don't fear the waitlist.

Most people book a week ahead, then plans change and they cancel. So a class that looks full on Monday usually has room by Wednesday. The waitlist isn't a wall, it's a queue that moves.

    1. 7 days out
      Class fills up
    2. 5 days out
      You join the waitlist
    3. 2 days out
      Someone cancels
    4. Seconds later
      You're in, automatically

Black dots are booked spots, the gold one is you. Classes cap at eight.

    7

    Days ahead

You can book up to a week out, and you should. Book your whole week on the same day every week, and you'll get into almost everything.

    2am

    Auto-promotion never sleeps

If someone cancels in the middle of the night, the waitlist moves you in automatically. Waitlisted for a 6am? Either be ready to go, or take yourself off before bed.

    +1

    Supply and demand

We're a supply-and-demand gym. When a time slot keeps filling up, we add classes. Booking early is how we see where the demand is.

    The 8-hour rule

    Cancel early. Everyone wins.

Cancel in the app at least 8 hours before your session and it's free. We'd much rather have full classes and happy people than collect a single fee. The fees just keep us accountable to each other, because a no-show is a spot someone on the waitlist would have taken.

    If youCost
    Cancel 8+ hours before$0
Cancel less than 8 hours before$15
    Don't show up$25
    The Stay Gold guarantee

Show up three times a week for ninety days. Or we work for free.

You bring the consistency. We bring the coaching. Hold up your end and if you're not seeing results, we keep coaching you at no charge until you do.

Solid Gold members only. It takes three sessions a week to back it, which Semi-Gold and Open Gym don't include. It's a coaching guarantee, not a refund, and these five commitments are what make it count.

    1. 3+sessions a week, averaged over the 90 days.
    2. 100%of your sessions logged in the Stay Gold app.
    3. 3monthly check-ins with your coach, in person or online.
    4. 1nutrition baseline, agreed at your assessment.
    5. 1set of measurable goals, written down at your assessment.
    1. Day 1

Your free assessment and goal-setting session. Goals go on paper.

    2. Week 1

Your week is booked. The checklist above is done.

    3. Day 30

Check-in #1, in person or online. What's working, what isn't. Have your meal log handy.

    4. Day 60

Check-in #2. Adjust training and nutrition.

    5. Day 90

Check-in #3. Retest, celebrate, set the next goal.

    Open Gym

    Your floor. Your hours.

Open Gym is reserved floor time with your own plan. Spots are limited so the floor never gets crowded, which is why you book it in the app just like a class.

    4am to 12am

    Brock

    Seven days a week.

    24/7

    Dundas

Any hour. Your door code gets you in.

    2 hrs

    Per booking

Book up to 24 hours ahead in the app, then the floor's yours.

Re-rack everything, wipe down what you used, and leave the floor better than you found it. That's the whole rulebook.

    The Gold Standard program

    Strong in every position

Gold Standard is our strength and conditioning program, written by our coaches and led by our Training Director. It follows one philosophy: train for the long game. Real strength you can use outside the gym, joints that hold up for decades, and results that keep coming instead of burning out in six months.

    6-weekblocks of strength and conditioning
    Weeklynew training added every week
Any dayjump in any time, look back or ahead
Built formuscle, endurance and all-round fitness
    Tempo

    Slow reps, real strength

Every rep has a tempo. Controlled lowering and pauses put the muscle under tension instead of letting momentum do the work. You get stronger with less load and less wear on your joints.

    Stability

    The small muscles matter

We train the stabilizers that hold your shoulders, hips, knees and spine in place, with complementary movements that balance out everything else you do. Healthy joints are the whole point.

    Submax

    Heavy, never reckless

We build toward a strong 3-rep max and stop the set the moment form starts to slip. Heavy enough to change your body. Never heavy enough to hurt it. That's how you're still lifting at 70.

    Range

    Full range of motion

Strength at the bottom of the squat, the top of the reach and everywhere in between. If you own the whole range, the end positions stop being where injuries happen.

    Asymmetry

    Built for real life

Split stances, single-arm and single-leg work, rotation and resisting rotation. Life doesn't happen square and symmetrical, so training shouldn't either. You get strong in every plane and every position.

    Blocks

    Progress you can see

Each 6-week block builds intensity and complexity week to week, so you keep progressing instead of plateauing. Sessions are clear and time-efficient, so you stay consistent even on busy days.

The payoff: carry the groceries up three flights, pick up your kid, move the couch, play the pickup game, shovel the driveway. Whatever life throws at you, you handle it without getting hurt.

    The nitty-gritty

    How the place works

    People first. Athletes second.

Nothing gold can stay. So we come back tomorrow.

Our name comes from the Robert Frost poem on our wall. Gold fades. Strength fades, discipline fades, the best shape of your life fades, and nobody gets an exemption. That's not a reason to quit. It's the reason for all of this.

You can't store it, so you practice it. You can't hold it alone, so you find a room. Then you come back tomorrow and do it again.

    Our code

    The Six H's

Six words we run on. It's what we hire for, what we coach by, and what we expect from each other on the floor. Each one comes straight out of the poem.
